S hubman Gill celebrated his first Test series win as captain after India defeated West Indies by seven wickets in the second Test at Delhi.

India chased down the 121-run target with KL Rahul leading the charge. He remained unbeaten on 58, displaying elegant strokeplay and calm leadership. Sai Sudharsan added 39 before falling to Shai Hope. Gill contributed a brisk 13 before being dismissed by Roston Chase.

India declared at 518/5 in the first innings, powered by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 175 and Gill’s unbeaten 129. Dhruv Jurel and Nitish Reddy chipped in with useful knocks. West Indies responded with 248, forcing a follow-on.
