Tributes to popular South Bristol pub owner who died suddenly View 2 Images

Details of the funeral of popular South Bristol pub owner Kevin Johns, who died suddenly at the start of October, have been announced, as his family and the brewery announce they are looking for a new landlord to reopen the pub he loved so much.

Mr Johns, known across South Bristol simply as ‘Kev’, owned and ran the Jolly Colliers on West Street in Bedminster , but died suddenly on Wednesday, October 1, at the age of just 61.

The businessman from the Parson Street area of Bedminster was a huge football fan, and was heavily involved in a number of teams in the area over his life, including Bedminster Down FC, as well as being a big England fan.
