The parents of Britain's largest family have been slapped with a fine after they decided to take their children out of school for an eye-wateringly priced holiday.

Noel and Sue Radford spent £52,000 on the trip of a lifetime to celebrate Sue's 50th birthday in April 2025.

However, the family's holiday became even more pricy after they were hit with a series of fines for the term-time holiday last week.

The parents were found guilty of failing to ensure the regular attendance of four of their children at school between March 24 and May 1 2025 at Preston Magistrates Court.

Noel and Sue were fined £65 per child along with £118 in court costs, adding a further £756 to the Florida getaway, LancsLive reported.
