São Paulo Fashion Week N60 opened this week marking the 30th anniversary of Latin America’s biggest fashion event, held at Parque Ibirapuera and other venues across the city. The edition brings together 38 designers, mixing established names and new voices in a celebration of Brazilian creativity and identity.

One of the highlights of this edition was designer Ronaldo Fraga, who returned to the SPFW runway with a collection inspired by the music and legacy of Milton Nascimento. The pieces draw from the landscapes of Minas Gerais and use materials like linen, taffeta, and denim in earthy and metallic tones, creating a modern but grounded take on Brazilian identity.

Nascimento, a celebrated Brazilian singer-songwriter known for fusing jazz, folk, and traditional rhythms, served as the central reference for the collection. His influence shaped the show’s focus on authenticity and cultural heritage, linking Brazilian music and fashion in a direct, accessible way.
