Illegal structures of religious conversion case accused razed in Nadiad October 14, 2025

Kheda: The district administration today demolished illegal constructions belonging to Steven McEwan, the primary accused in the illegal religious conversion case that was busted in Nadiad last month.

The administration carried out a bulldozer operation to remove the illegal structures allegedly constructed by McEwan near the Ram Talavdi on Mission Road in Nadiad.

The case came to light in September, when it was revealed that the Restoration and Revival Foundation Trust, run by Steven McEwan, used to bring people from ST-SC communities across India and coerce them into converting to Christianity without following due process.
