SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The “Put Down the Guns Now Young People Organization” will hold a rally against gun violence in response to the mass shooting on St. Helena Island.

The rally will be at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Event organizers say they want to send a strong message against gun violence. There will also be free safety gunlocks passed out.

A memorial stands in front of Willie’s Bar and Grill honoring those who lost their lives.

The victims range in age from 22 to 54 years old and are all from Beaufort County.
