A pedestrian has suffered a potentially serious head injury after a crash in Plymouth this morning (Tuesday, October 14). Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash involving a female pedestrian and a car just after 9am on Cobourg Street.

The woman has suffered a potentially serious head injury, police have said. PlymouthLive was told by a witness there is a large emergency service presence, and heavy traffic in the area.

They said: "There's five police cars and two ambulances at Coburg Street, Plymouth. Massive traffic jams around the whole area of the city centre."
