Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish Rao on Tuesday sounded an alarm over the economic collapse of Telangana under the Congress government, referring to repeated deflation.
He blamed Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for pushing the State towards recession through reckless and poorly conceived
policies.
Citing official data showing negative inflation for three of the past four months, Harish Rao said the State’s economy was clearly collapsing.
Telangana recorded deflation of -0.93 per cent in June, -0.44 per cent in July, and -0.15 per cent in September, even as India’s retail inflation stood at 1.54 per cent.
