Strictly Come Dancing co-host Tess Daly has opened up on her first appearances on the popular BBC show as she admitted that she decided to keep news of her pregnancy a secret at first.

Having appeared in the very first episode of the show when it launched in 2004, Tess has been a staple on our screens ever since, taking up hosting duties alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth until he was replaced by Claudia Winkleman in 2014.

However, as the most recent series of the show got underway in recent weeks , Tess opened up about how she discovered she was pregnant with her first daughter, Phoebe, just weeks before starting on the show over 20 years ago.
