NEWTON — The Center for Grief and Healing at Carolina Caring invites those in the community who have experienced loss to attend free, in-person support groups happening this October.

A creative Felting Class will meet outdoors (weather permitting) from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Carolina Caring Keystone Overlook, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton. Together, attendees will learn about or enhance their skills in transforming wool into a beautiful piece of fabric. Registration is not required.

Game Night will meet at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the Carolina Caring Catawba Valley Hospice House, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton. Bring your favorite game or cards for an evening of fun and pizza with others who are on a path of healing. Interested attendees should register by Wednesday, Oct. 15.
