Gov. Kim Reynolds is appealing an Iowa district judge's order that she let the court privately review emails she is seeking to withhold from the Des Moines Register.

Reynolds is suing the Register to block the release of the four emails connected to a February public controversy involving her response to a claim boosted by Elon Musk, then a member of the Trump administration, that Lutheran Services is a "money-laundering operation."
