Investigators are seeking answers after five people were shot over the span of eight hours across Hamilton County, including one inside a restaurant on Fountain Square, marking the second shooting in the area within a week.

A teenage boy, approximately 16 or 17 years old, was grazed in the leg by a bullet, while an adult man was shot in the thigh.

Both were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive. Two people of interest are in custody, with one apprehended after fleeing from police and the other found in Over-the-Rhine. No charges have been announced yet.
