FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — As legal battles continue over Arkansas’s Ten Commandments classroom law, the University of Arkansas has received nearly 500 posters from a Christian group founded by one of its former students.

John Thomas with the University of Arkansas confirmed on Monday that Counteract USA is the donor of the nearly 500 posters given to the U of A. Counteract's founder is Abigail Dejarnatt, a former U of A student who was vice president of Turning Point USA 's chapter at the school.

According to its website, Counteract USA describes its mission as equipping young Christians “to counteract the narratives of our culture with the hope of the gospel.” DeJarnatt launched the organization in June 2021 from Northwest Arkansas.
