NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department has now arrested a teen in connection to a homicide that happened on September 1.
According to reports, North Little Rock officers responded to the 300 block of East Bethany Road with reports of a shooting that happened at around 2:55 a.m.
When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as 50-year-old Robert Mathis, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
During the investigation, police identified 14-year-old Brentian Baker as a suspect.
On October 14, officers were able to locate and arrest Baker for his alleged involvement in the homicide.
