New Delhi, October 14, 2025: In a significant move to strengthen India's presence at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the deputation of two senior Reserve Bank of India (RBI) officials to advisory roles in Washington DC, USA.

The decision, announced via an Office Memorandum dated October 13, 2025, confirms the appointment of:

Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Director (Grade 'E'), RBI, as Senior Adviser to the Executive Director (India) at the IMF, Washington DC, USA.

Dr. Dirghau Keshao Raut, Director (Grade 'D'), RBI, as Adviser to the Executive Director (India) at the IMF, Washington DC, USA.
