Deputies look for man wanted for alleged sexual battery

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says it is looking for a man wanted for an alleged sexual battery.

Kent Rickerson Gant Jr., 35, is wanted in reference to a sexual battery incident that happened on the 3000 block of Peach Orchard Road in October, according to deputies.

Suspect sought after man found dead in parking lot off Washington Road

A 30-year-old man was found dead in the parking lot of Helms College on Monday night, according to authorities.

Deputies say he is 6 feet tall and weighs 250 pounds.
