Blue Jays fans are holding onto hope for a comeback by the team after a disappointing 10-3 loss against the Seattle Mariners on Monday.
Cheers of “let’s go Blue Jays” and “Jays in seven” could be heard amongst the crowd walking out of Rogers Centre Monday night, as fans spoke of feeling nervous, yet confident, for the games ahead.
The Mariners lead the American League Championship Series 2-0 in a best-of-seven round for a spot in the World Series.
The Blue Jays will face off against the Mariners on Wednesday for Game 3 in Seattle.
Fans of all ages outside Rogers Centre were critical of manager John Schneider’s bullpen decisions on Monday, with some saying rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage should’ve been kept in longer.
Fan Caleb Grant-Lambert said Yesavage had the “situation under control”
