PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) -- Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Detectives are taking over the investigation of Kada Scott's disappearance.

Scott was last seen on October 4, leaving her overnight job at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill, an assisted living facility along East Abington Avenue.

Police have not said why the homicide unit is getting involved, and the FBI is reportedly also part of the search and investigation.
