KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City leaders are set to discuss the approval of $3 million in funding for the historic Starlight Theater on Tuesday.

The proposed funding is part of a larger $40 million fundraising campaign known as 'Uniquely KC,' aimed at revitalizing the theater and enhancing its offerings.

The $3 million, if approved, would come from the city's general fund and contribute to significant improvements at the Starlight Theater.

These improvements include the installation of a new state-of-the-art canopy to cover a portion of the seating area and upgraded lighting.
