Medak: Medak Police have cracked the case of the brutal rape and murder of a tribal woman who was found unconscious near the Edupayala temple on October 10. The woman, a mother of five, succumbed to her injuries while being shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad the same day.
Superintendent of Police D V Srinivas Rao, producing the accused before the media on Tuesday, said the culprit, identified as Megavath Fakir Nayak (36), a resident of Ambujiguda Thanda in Vatpally mandal of Sangareddy district, was a habitual offender with multiple criminal case
