A hiker is in critical condition after a grizzly bear attack near Prince George, B.C. — the third such incident in the province in recent weeks.
The B.C. Conservation Officer Service (COS) said its predator attack team is investigating the Oct. 12 attack, which occurred in the early afternoon in the Pass Lake area, about 60 kilometres northeast of Prince George. All hiking activity in the area has been suspended, and trails are closed while investigators scour the site.
