Zhilei Zhang has urged Moses Itauma to hand him a contract for a December 13 fight.

Itauma has yet to secure a fight for his planned return date just before Christmas, where he is being plotted to fight alongside Derek Chisora in Manchester.

Many opponents have come and gone, with Filip Hrgovic believed to be one of many rejecting the fight , with an undisclosed opponent even demanding a purse of $3.5 million.

The clock is ticking for Itauma, who has been linked with a number of alternative names including Michael Hunter.

But it is now a new operator, in 42-year-old veteran Zhang who has put his name forward.

He said: "Moses Itauma is a great fighter.

"I watched a couple of his fights and he knocked out Dillian Whyte in one round.
