**Tragic Collision: Three Infants Injured in Pram Crash**

Three small children were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a trailer collided with their pram. The incident occurred around 3.15pm on Monday, leaving the infants, aged eight months, 14 months, and 18 months, in critical condition.

The pram was being pushed by an 18-year-old woman, who also sustained injuries and required medical attention. Initially, the children were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary before being transferred to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow for further treatment. The unnamed woman pushing the pram was later discharged from the hospital.

According to Police Scotland, the trailer is believed to have detached from a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV, striking the pram while it was on the pavement. In light of the incident, police have launched an appeal for information.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland stated, “All three children are being treated for serious injuries at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.” Sergeant David Kerr from the road policing unit added, “Our inquiries into this incident are ongoing and we would urge anyone who has witnessed it to come forward. We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage from the area.”

The community is urged to assist in the investigation as authorities seek to gather more details about the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
