A former Hamilton Township schools supervisor accused of sexually assaulting four girls in Atlantic and Ocean counties had his detention hearing in a fifth case out of Ocean delayed Tuesday after Superior Court Judge Kenneth Palmer said he couldn't hear the case due to a conflict.

Darnell Williams, 34, of Whiting in Manchester Township, was first arrested Aug. 28 in Atlantic County on charges of sexual assault of a victim under 13, endangering the welfare of a child and official misconduct after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 7-year-old in a hotel parking lot in October 2023.

Two more victims in Atlantic County then came forward shortly after his arrest.

Williams had a detention hearing Sept. 8 and was ordered held in the Atlantic County jail until trial by Superior Court Judge Josep
