LEXINGTON TWP. ‒ An Alliance woman was killed Oct. 13 when her car crashed in the 14400 block of Iowa Avenue NE, the Stark County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies said Shantelle Watson, 31, was traveling northbound about 6 p.m. on Iowa Avenue when her 2007 Buick LaCrosse veered off the road. The car rolled multiple times, ejecting Watson.

Watson later died at Aultman Hospital in Canton from her injuries.

The crash remains under investigation with support from the Canton Metro Crash Team, Alliance Fire Department and Lexington Township Fire Department.
