Three people were arrested after police responded to a report of a gunshot in downtown Pembroke on Friday evening, Oct. 10.
According to the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were called to a home on Victoria Street just before 7 p.m. Police contained the area and took safety precautions before calling the homeowner out of the residence.
Once officers entered the home, they found three other individuals inside, who were detained. No injuries were reported or observed.
Two of the individuals were arrested on outstanding warrants, while a third was charged with failing to comply with a release order. A fourth person was interviewed and released without charges.
