United States Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee showed off his bass talents by taking part in an odd remix of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s .
Huckabee and former U.S. ambassador to Israel David Friedman took to the stage on Saturday in Jerusalem to play a version of “Sweet Home Alabama” called “Sweet Home Yerushalayim” (Hebrew for Jerusalem). The original “Sweet Home Alabama” was released in 1974.
Huckabee’s performance took place at the annual United Hatzalah’s Sukkot concert. The event was held to celebrate Israel and the recent peace deal between the country and Hamas.
Huckabee is a longtime bass player.
