Italian fashion group Aeffe is taking the first steps towards recovery. The Chamber of Commerce for Romagna Forlì-Cesena and Rimini has appointed Riccardo Ranalli as the independent expert who will oversee the negotiated settlement procedure Aeffe and its subsidiary Pollini had applied for on October 2, in the light of Aeffe’s financial difficulties.
Ranalli confirmed his acceptance of the assignment on October 8. Aeffe and Pollini’s application for the procedure, and Ranalli’s acceptance, were published in the relevant company registry the following day. Aeffe has also stated that it filed a request for insolvency protection measures with the Bologna court on October 10.
The procedure initiated by Aeffe excludes the group’s other subsidiaries, like Alberta Ferretti and Moschino
