Ben Whittaker has had his boxing return officially confirmed for November 29 in Brimingham.

Whittaker recently secured his revenge over recent rival Liam Cameron in April this year to get his glittering career back on track.

But his contract with promoter Ben Shalom and BOXXER expired, which saw 'The Surgeon' look for alternative representation.

He ultimately decided to sign with Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn , in one of the most high-profile moves of the year.

And the outfit wanted to get Whittaker back into the squared circle before the end of the year.

As promised, Whittaker's next outing has now been announced, a showdown with German contender Benjamin Gavazi.

Gavazi has a record of 19-1 in his professional career, and the pair will meet for the WBC silver light-heavyweigh
