With a chance to extend a season, the pressure athletes face is immense, and sometimes they overcome the pressure to secure their spot. The Lady Spartans golf team felt that pressure to start the week as they competed at Regionals for a chance to go to the State Tournament.

The three golfers of junior Kelsey Shull, sophomore Sofia Henning, and freshman Layla Johnson all competed for the chance to punch their ticket to State. Shull would secure her spot at State, placing 20th while shooting 118 in her round. Henning and Johnson, however, would fall just short of qualifying, placing in 29th and 32nd, shooting rounds of 134 and 144.
