Effective immediately, Pembroke Street East between Mackay Street and Victoria Street in Pembroke will be reduced to one lane to allow for building work at city hall.

The lane reduction will be between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, Wednesday, Oct. 15, Thursday, Oct. 16, and Friday, Oct. 17.

Driver ivers must respect the posted construction signage and the City warns that delays can be expected so the travelling public is encouraged to use alternate routes.

Businesses within the construction zone remain open.
