Raoul Peck’s Orwell: 2+2=5 has a leading seven nominations and Geeta Gandbhir’s The Perfect Neighbor has six to lead the way among the nominees for the 10th annual Critics Choice Documentary Awards , celebrating the year’s best in nonfiction film, TV or streaming.
Neon’s Orwell: 2+2=5 picked up noms in seven of the awards’ 17 competitive categories including Best Documentary Feature, where it is joined by Netflix’s Perfect Neighbor along with Frontline Features’ 2000 Meters to Andriivka , HBO Max’s The Alabama Solution and Pee-wee as Himself , Netflix’s Apocalypse in the Tropics and Cover-Up , Apple TV’s Deaf President Now! , Kino Lorber’s Riefenstahl and Nat Geo’s The Tale of Silyan .
