The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has rolled out a cleanliness drive in which highway users will now be able to earn a Rs 1,000 FASTag recharge by reporting unclean toilets at toll plazas along national highways.
The scheme will be valid till October 31, 2025, news agency PTI reported.
How it works?
- Users must report via the latest version of the Rajmargyatra app, submitting geo-tagged, time-stamped photos of the dirty toilet along with their name, vehicle registration number (VRN), location, and mobile number.
- Once verified, Rs 1,000 will be credited to the FASTag account linked to the reported VRN.
- The reward is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed in cash.
- The initiative will continue till October 31, 2025 on all National Highways across the country. Each
