Is it even possible to overreact following the 49ers’ Week 6 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

It was not so much San Francisco's 30-19 loss to the Baker Mayfield-led Bucs on Sunday. It was what happened midway through the first quarter when four-time All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner went down with a grisly lower leg injury .

That sight of Warner being carted off the field with his right leg in an air cast signaled a dramatic change in how the remainder of this season should be viewed.
