Human remains found near I-15 in Washington, UHP confirms it was a skull

SALT LAKE CITY — Human remains have been found near Interstate 15 in Washington.

According to Mike Alexander with the Utah Highway Patrol , a human skull was discovered on Monday afternoon by a company contracted to clean up litter and debris within the I-15 right-of-way.

“They reported the finding to UHP, who responded to secure the scene. Troopers and SBI agents are investigating,” Alexander said.

The right shoulder on northbound I-15 at milepost 14 is blocked for the investigation.
