EXCLUSIVE: New Regency has preemptively acquired a new thriller pitch from filmmaker Daniel Goldhaber ( How to Blow Up a Pipeline ), Deadline has learned.

While unconfirmed, sources said Goldhaber will write and direct the project himself. Specific details around the story are under wraps but sources describe it as a propulsive, character-driven thriller with a socially combustible premise that explores the theme of the 99% against the 1%.
