Shaktisinh Gohil, Congress MP from Gujarat and a former president of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC), has been appointed as the Convener of the Sub-Committee Action Taken Reports (ATR) of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), one of the important constitutional committees in Parliament.

While Dharmendra Yadav (MP from Uttar Pradesh) has been appointed as the Alternate Convener of this committee, Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi, Sukhendu Shekhar Ray, Aparajita Sarangi, Praful Patel and Nishikant Dubey have been appointed as its members.

This committee examines the audit reports of all the departments of the Centre by the CAG and the action-taken reports on the recommendations made by the Public Accounts Committee based on which it will prepare a report on the action taken by each depa
