The SIT has agreed to the citizens’ proposal for a nodal officer who would brief the media on a regular basis to avoid spread of misinformation

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the crucial Zubeen Garg death case today briefed a select group of distinguished members of Assam’s civil society in Guwahati. Briefing the media after the interaction, the leading citizens said that the SIT has so far recorded statements of over 50 people and the SIT headed by Assam CID’s Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta will file a very strong, watertight chargesheet in the next 90 days.
