Former Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today said that he and the other BJP MLAs of the state have conveyed to the central leadership the people of Manipur’s desire for a popular government in the state.

Lashing out at the opposition, the CM who returned to the state today after camping in New Delhi since October 4 said, “Did not go there to play games. We informed the central leaders about the prevailing situation (in Manipur), we conveyed to the centre the peoples’ desire for a popular government. We also placed before them our proposal.
