Former treasurer Josh Frydenberg has condemned continued pro-Palestine protests, describing them as “incubators of hate” and questioning the need for demonstrations given the ceasefire in Gaza.

Mr Frydenberg argued the nationwide pro-Palestinian rallies have created more division than awareness, accusing protesters of spreading dangerous rhetoric and hostility across Australian cities.

“Members of parliament, members of Albanese’s government (have been) marching under the banner of the Ayatollah in Iran,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
