The Mandel Jewish Community Center of Cleveland’s virtual auction held in place of its annual event to raise funds was originally an event as a solution to the COVID-19 pandemic, at the time a temporary solution to what was hoped to be a temporary problem.

Instead the “Marvelous Holiday Market” proved to be a massive success, one that the Mandel JCC in Beachwood decided to turn into a yearly happening, even years after the effects of the virus have waned enough to return to normalcy, according to Traci Felder, chief philanthropy officer of the Mandel JCC.

Now in its fourth year, the virtual auction, which will have items such as gift cards, tickets to sporting and entertainment events, fitness packages, trips and more, will begin at 9 a.m. Oct. 26 and run through 5 p.m. Oct. 30.
