DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) -- As part of the Alabama Centers for Rural Healthcare Opportunity legislative appropriation, the Alabama Community College System (ACCS) has awarded Wallace Community College-Dothan (WCCD) over $2.7 million.
Neighbors in Health: Rural Healthcare Training Close to Home, a significant project aimed at bolstering the rural healthcare workforce, increasing training possibilities in southeast Alabama, and assisting students from rural communities who want to work in healthcare, will be funded by the funding.
