BOROUGHWIDE — MORE THAN 260 Brooklyn Con Edison customers temporarily lost power on Sunday due to wind and rain from the season’s first Nor’easter, including 189 in DUMBO and 51 in Homecrest, according to Con Ed’s outage map. Another 95 remained without power in Bushwick by midday Monday. Con Ed reported that crews were on the scene.

A smaller number lost power in Queens. In addition, strong wind gusts caused tree limbs and untethered objects to fly citywide. One of the stronger gusts, at 42 miles per hour, was recorded at 1:45 a.m. Monday morning at the weather station at Brooklyn College, according to the National Weather Service.
