President Donald Trump on Monday offered up some frosty advice for Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker while addressing reporters aboard Air Force One.
While discussing the White House’s stymied attempts to deploy National Guard troops into Chicago, Trump was asked whether he had any messages or questions for the second-term Democratic governor.
“I think he should beg for help,” Trump said of Pritzker , “because he’s running a bad operation.
“He’s letting people be killed in his city. And I love Chicago. Chicago can be a great city again, and very quickly. I would have Chicago cleaned out, the criminals removed, we would remove them.”
