(KRON) -- An East Bay bakery known for small-batch, hand-crafted European-style breads is closing this month. Alameda's The Feel Good Bakery, which operates two locations on the island, will close on Oct. 31, according to a notice on its website.
The Feel Good Bakery opened its first location in 2004 at the Alameda Marketplace on Park Street. That location, along with the bakery's second location at the Encinal Shopping Center, is due to close at the end of the month.
"To our valued customers, it is with deep appreciation and heavy hearts that we share the difficult news that Feel Good Bakery will be closing, effective Friday, October 31, 2025 at 12 p.m.," the bakery said on its website.
