HIBBING, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The lives of a family in Hibbing were suddenly changed on Oct. 12 when they lost their home in an explosion.

Missy, Dave, and their four-year-old grandson Jax, all survived the explosion, though Dave is currently in critical condition at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Their two dogs also made it out safely, but their house, which they have built memories in for over 20 years, along with everything within, was lost.

Their next-door neighbors’ homes were also directly affected by the explosion, making their homes uninhabitable for the time being.
