A technical error led to incorrect delinquent tax notices being sent to all property owners within the village of Homer, according to a community announcement.

The Calhoun County Treasurer’s Office said that the error occurred during the upload of the 2025 Homer Village delinquent tax records.

“We understand that receiving this type of notice can be concerning,” Melinda Weaver, Calhoun County treasurer, said in the announcement. “We want to assure residents that this was a clerical error, and we are taking immediate steps to correct the records and issue accurate information.”
