The North Bay Police Service has arrested a Toronto man, found in breach of release and probation orders; multiple drugs, knives, and counterfeit currency recovered.
North Bay police on Oct. 13, around 2:20 a.m. conducted a traffic stop of an electric bicycle on a sidewalk in the McIntyre Street East area.
The individual was found to be in breach of prior release orders issued on Jan. 7 and a probation order issued July 2.
“The suspect attempted to evade police but was arrested following a brief pursuit. During the arrest, officers seized a large quantity of drugs and a folding knife. At North Bay Police Service headquarters, a further search revealed additional drugs, a second folding knife, counterfeit currency, and additional funds,” according to North Bay Police.
