Greenville Tech Foundation received 110 refurbished laptops from AT&T and Human I-T on Oct. 14.
The computers were distributed to students participating in Greenville Technical College’s ASPIRE Scholars Initiative. The ASPIRE Scholars Initiative provides support, geocaching and resources to students in need to improve retention rates, graduation rates and overall student satisfaction.
“AT&T’s collaboration with the Greenville Technical College Foundation to equip students with laptops is an investment in Greenville’s future,” said Greenville County Councilmember Liz Seman.
In addition to the laptops, AT&T also provided a $36,200 donation to the ASPIRE Scholars Initiative. Greenville Technical College President Larry Miller said AT&T’s contribution and laptop donation ensure that more st
