NORTON, Ohio — The plan to build a data center in a northeast Ohio town is getting a lot of backlash from its residents.

On Monday, Norton residents voiced their concerns to the Ohio-based technology company behind the center.

It was a crowded room with standing room only, and Norton residents shared their concerns about a new data center that could be built in the town.

“The facility here will be based upon a system that generates its own power onsite and operates completely independent from the public electrical grid,”
